Welcome to Sondance STUDIO!
Sondance Studio has offered high-quality, faith-based dance instruction in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area for over 35 years as part of the parent company Son-Sheim-Sondance Music School. With prior locations in Spring Lake Park and Burnsville, Sondance Studio is known throughout the Twin Cities for providing exceptional dance instruction in a wholesome environment.
After long-time owners of the school decided to retire in 2019, the school was poised to close. Instead, a small group of Sondance families desiring to continue the unique, faith-based dance environment worked to find viable alternatives to permanent closure. Soon after, the transition to a non-profit dance studio began. Founded in August 2019 Sondance is now a 501c3 organization that holds classes at Rios Church in Lakeville, Minnesota.
From costumes to music, Sondance Studio provides a healthy, God-honoring environment for youth of all ages. Pair that with our outstanding teachers and exceptional instruction in a variety of dance styles, and your child will quickly feel at home.

Studio Cancellations & Communication
Primary communication will be through email and in-person communication via the teachers as well.
If Lakeville schools are cancelled due to weather, Sondance will also be closed. We will do our best to make up snow days where the schedule allows, but we cannot guarantee that all snow days will be made up. If a student or family does not feel safe driving due to weather conditions, there will be no penalty under the attendance policy.
Please email the teacher to let them know your dancer will not be in class.
